ABOUT US

Dr. Vu have been practicing optometry for over 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Science for Biology at the University of California, Irvine, and went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton.

Through her clinical work at various locations including Indian Health Reservation in AZ, Maricopa County Hospital in AZ, and other optometric clinics, she gained valuable experiences in diagnosing and management of Diabetic eye diseases, treatment of lazy eyes (amblyopia), fitting of both soft and gas permeable contact lens in challenging cases, dry eye treatment, foreign body removal, and LASIK co-management to name a few. She also does corneal refractive therapy (CRT) for patients who wish to control their myopia (near-sightedness) through the overnight wear of contact lens.

Having worked at a Low Vision clinic during her clinical rotations, Dr. Vu prescribed and taught many elderly patients with advanced macular degeneration, end-stage glaucoma, or diabetic retinopathy how to utilize their remaining vision through the use of telescopes, magnifiers, and other low vision devices. It is here that her patience was best used, her affinity towards the geriatric population realized, and an even deeper appreciation for the gift of sight. You will find Dr. Vu focuses utmost on your eye health and educate you on the importance of maintaining this gift.

She speaks Spanish and Vietnamese and enjoy working with children of all ages.
